Ambisonics is a 360 degree full-sphere method of recording surround sound from four microphone capsules encased closely together. The recordings can be decoded to various speaker arrays; Mono, Stereo, 5.1, 7.1 and converted to B-Format (AmbiX) for VR and 360 video production via a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) and plugins.
